Ever wanted to close all windows with just a single click. This small and portable utility by ntwind allows you to close all the opened windows at once. This is particularly useful when you need to shutdown your computer and you are running 30+ windows, instead to closing all windows one by one, you can simply click it once.

1- Click here to download

2- Extract the zip package, right click on CloseAll.exe and hover on Send to and click on Send to Desktop (create shortcut)

Now you will see an shortcut on your desktop. When you will click this shortcut, all opened windows would be closed, but wait a second, we want to make it more handy, so

3- You can now pin it to taskbar in Windows 7

or drag to QuickLaunch in Windowx XP and Vista.

4- You also can assign a keyboard shortcut to it, right click on the Desktop shortcut and click Properties. Under the shortcut tab, click on the text box in front of Shortkut key and press the keyboard buttons which you want to use as the keyboard shortcut and press OK.

Now when you will press that shortcut key combination from keyboard, all the opened windows will be closed.

Enjoy.
