The system runs iPhone OS, The new iPad seems a bigger version of iPhone and a cut-down version of Mac. The iPad can run iPhone apps with increase pixel size for full screen playback. iWork applications will be available to iPad users through app store $9.99 each.

The price of iPad starts from $499 against the rumored $999 and I think its quiet reasonable.

The iPad will definately bring a revolution in mobile devices. The gaming, internet surfing, Movies, productivity, e-books will be redefined after the launch of iPad. Lets see what happens when this is going to launch actually in markets in March (Wi-Fi models will be available on 27th of March and 3G models will be available on 27th of April).
Steve Jobs also announced the new Apple SDK with complete support for the new iPad, which will be available soon for download.
